Dr Tim Hucker is one of the two directors and cofounders of Victoria Pain Specialists, a specialist medical pain practice in Erin Street, Richmond.
Dr Hucker is a dual specialist in Pain Medicine and Anaesthesia having trained in the United Kingdom and Australia. His training has taken him through prestigious establishments such as Guy’s Hospital in London, The Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney and the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne. Following obtaining the qualification FFPMANZCA (pain specialist) and FRCA, FANZCA (UK and Australian specialist in anaesthesia qualifications) he has settled in Melbourne. He currently holds the above position at Victoria Pain Specialists, Consultant in Pain Medicine and Anaesthesia at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and lecturer at Monash University.
Dr Hucker is committed to the practice of pain medicine through education of future generations of doctors and researching to provide better techniques of pain management.
Dr Hucker is a highly qualified specialist in all aspects of pain medicine with particular areas of interest in interventional pain management and cancer pain management. He promotes an honest, compassionate and professional approach aiming to help people maximize their comfort and daily living.
