Dr Tim Price trained in Medical oncology at Royal Adelaide Hospital and completed his advanced training at the Royal Marsden Hospital and Institute of Cancer Research, London. He returned to Australia in 2000 and was appointed as a Consultant Medical Oncologist at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
Since that time Dr Price has since been appointed as Head of Clinical Oncology Research and subsequently Chair of the combined Haematology and Medical Oncology Unit at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Woodville. He has also positions as Visiting Medical Oncologist at Calvary Hospital North Adelaide, Western Hospital Henley Beach and Lyell McEwin Health Service. He also holds the position of Clinical Associate Professor within the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Adelaide.
Dr Price is a member of the National Panel of Examiners for the Royal College of Physicians and is an active participant in student teaching, postgraduate education and clinical research. He is also a member of several international and national cancer advisory boards and a Director of the Australasian Gastrointestinal Trials Group.
