Dr Mai is a consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with a special interest in infertility and IVF. She graduated from Medicine from Monash University with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery and then trained in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Royal Women’s Hospital, the Mercy hospital for Women and Sunshine Hospital in Melbourne.
Dr Mai received further training in the field of infertility and IVF at the Mercy Hospital for Women, Monash IVF and at the Melbourne Assisted Conception Centre (MACC) and is currently completing a Masters Degree in Reproductive Medicine at the University of New South Wales
Dr Mai currently holds a public appointment as a general Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Sunshine Hospital as well as managing the Early Pregnancy Assessment Service (EPAS) there. She is passionate about all aspects of fertility and IVF but has a special interest in reproductive endocrinology, polycystic ovarian syndrome, recurrent miscarriage, ovulation induction and IVF. She also specialises in diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy and laparoscopy.
