Dr Tom Denton is a second year General Practice Registrar who completed his medical degree at Deakin University in 2016. Dr Denton commenced GP training after working for 2 years as a junior doctor at University Hospital Geelong. During this time he has been completing his Certificate in Children’s Health through the University of Sydney. He is also a trained physiotherapist, having previously worked with sports teams and having done research into people with hip pain.
Dr Tom is passionate about family and paediatric medicine, preventative medicine, caring for elderly patients and women’s and men’s health.
He enjoys cooking, running and time with his family in his down time.
