Dr Wai graduate medical studies in Myanmar ( Burma), and he volunteered for 3 years there in a charity hospital which looked after pro-democracy activists and the most disadvantaged.
He migrated to Australia in 2006. For next 5 years, he worked as a remote area GP in Exmouth, and then as a Senior Medical Practitioner in the fields of Emergency Medicine and hospital-based General Medicine.
After gaining experience as a senior clinician in these diverse medical specialties, Dr Wai became a community-based GP in 2011. He is a Fellow of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. In 2018, he became an accredited training supervisor for future Australian GP's.
Dr Wai enjoys looking after his patents, ensuring they receive the best possible medical care.
