Tayla completed her medical degree with honours at Monash University in 2017. While working in a variety of hospitals in Melbourne and regional Victoria she gained experience in obstetrics, gynaecology, fertility medicine, paediatrics, geriatrics, as well as general medicine. Tayla obtained her specialist fellowship in General Practice in 2022.

Tayla chose General Practice because of the wide variety of patients, but she particularly enjoys seeing patients about menstrual concerns, contraception options (she is trained in inserting Implanons), pregnancy planning, sexual health, and women's health more broadly. She has extra qualifications for prescribing medical abortions, and can discuss all options sensitively with her patients. Tayla's other interests are children's health (with a toddler of her own she understands the unique challenges they pose) and mental health in patients of all ages and genders.
Tayla is a warm and compassionate doctor who takes a thorough approach to all patient concerns.
