Dr Tau Boga is a general cardiologist and echocardiography specialist and joined HeartCare Sunshine Coast in March, 2014. He completed his cardiology training in Wellington Hospital, New Zealand in 2007 and underwent subspeciality training at The Prince Charles Hospital in cardiac ultrasound (echocardiography, transoesophageal echocardiography and stress echo) as well as CT coronary angiography. He subsequently worked at Nambour Hospital as a Staff Cardiologist before returning to New Zealand working as a Consultant Cardiologist where he was able to perform all aspects of his training. He was also senior lecturer to medical students enrolled with the Otago University.
