Qadrus Specialist Group is pleased to introduce Dr Talib Aljumaily who is a Consultant Physician available to treat your patients. Dr Aljumaily graduated from the University of Basrah, Iraq, in 1993, he then undertook postgraduate training in general medicine in London. After obtaining his membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP), he continued his specialist training in diabetes, endocrinology, and metabolism at the Royal Free Hospital, UK. He developed a major interest in diabetes and general endocrinology during these years. After obtaining his sub-speciality training and degree in diabetes and endocrinology from Middlesex University, London, Dr Aljumaily moved to the United Arab Emirates to work as a consultant physician and endocrinologist in both the public and private sector. Since 2006, Dr Aljumaily has been working in the Department of General Medicine/Diabetes and Endocrinology at the Gold Coast University Hospital. He obtained his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians in 2009 and has since then been employed as part time consultant physician at the Gold Coast Hospital. He has a special interest in medical teaching and currently holds an academic title as an Assistant Professor for both Bond and Griffith Medical School’s. His special research interests include diabetes and cardiovascular disease. Dr. Aljumaily will be consults fortnightly at Qadrus Specialist Group. He is happy to take phone calls from GP’s and other specialists.
