Dr Sylvia Hanania is a GP registrar working at Modern Medical Hobson's Bay for a twelve month placement. Sylvia completed her medical degree at Monash University, graduating 2011. Sylvia has worked at Western Health in a variety of roles, particularly Emergency Medicine before entering General Practice. Sylvia enjoys the complexity and variety of work that General Practice provides, with a special interest in women's and children's health. She is in the process of obtaining her Diploma of Child Health through the Sydney Children's Hospital. She is also a qualified Implanon inserter and enjoys the challenge of undertaking small skin procedures. Sylvia is a proud Essendon and Melbourne Storm supporter, when away from work, she can be found at games with her husband and two very young boys
