Dr Swagat Shrestha completed his MBBS degree in 2003 and has been working as a doctor ever since.

Dr Shrestha worked in Royal Perth Hospital from 2009. Dr Shrestha has worked as a medical registrar for six years in General medicine, Geriatric medicine and various clinical specilalities including Neurology, Cardilogy, Gastroenetrology, Rheumatology, Nephrology, Oncology in various hospitals including Royal Perth Hospital, Fiona Stanley Hospital, Bentley Hospital, Armadale and Kalgoorlie Hospital. Dr Shrestha has also worked in Emergency Department at Armadale hospital for six months .
