Suzanne has been a part of the Centenary Community since 1994. After graduating from the University of Queensland in 1992, she gained valuable experience at the Ipswich General Hospital, which included extra training in Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Suzanne achieved the Diploma in Obstetrics (DRANZCOG) in 1995 and her specialist GP qualification (FRACGP) in 1996. She has worked as a GP in Forest Lake and Jindalee since 1996. Over the last 5 years, she has been providing antenatal care to women as part of the Obstetric Team at Mater Mothers Public Hospital. She is aligned with Mater to provide GP Shared Care for expectant mothers.
Suzanne considers the role of the Family Doctor, to be able to provide quality health care to individuals and families throughout the years, and assist them in gaining and maintaining good health. She has a special interest in Women's Health and Antenatal Care and also enjoys Paediatrics, Cardiology and Travel Medicine. Suzanne has two sons who keep her quite occupied during her time away from the surgery. Her other interests include cooking, reading and craftwork (which there isn't really time for).
