Susan graduated from the University of New South Wales in 2000 with first class honours in a triple bachelor degree in Medical Science, Medicine and Surgery. She subsequently worked for 2 years in a variety of hospital placements including John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle, Westmead Hospital and the Children’s Hospital. She then undertook GP training and worked in various parts of Western Sydney as well as the Blue Mountains and Bellingen. She was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2006, obtaining the highest overall mark in Australia for the Fellowship exam.
Susan has also undertaken additional training in Children’s health, Women’s health, Sexual and Reproductive health, Occupational medicine and Travel medicine.
