Dr Suresh Duraiswamy started his career in Australia as a senior house officer at the Mater Public Hospital in Brisbane. He later worked with Family Care Medical Services doing after hours deputising work. Dr Duraiswamy also filled various remote and rural locum positions, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders health centers, before settling with IPN in full time Family Practice at Browns Plains in Brisbane. Dr Duraiswamy went on to do his Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2006 and also obtained a Masters in Health Services Management from Griffith University in Brisbane. Dr Duraiswamy has keen interests in Obesity Management, Cardiovascular Problems, Musculoskeletal Medicine and Corporate medicine including Pre-employment medicals and Corporate health checks. After 15 years in Family Practice he has up-skilled with new innovations in Mental Health Problems and Chronic Disease Management including Diabetes and Hypertension.
