Dr Suraj Varma is a Consultant Paediatric Cardiologist. He has undertaken specialist training in Paediatric Cardiology both in India and Australia. He completed Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Calicut University in 2000, followed by post graduate training in Paediatrics (MD Paediatrics 2006) and Paediatric Cardiology (FNB Paediatric Cardiology 2009). Suraj has subsequently trained in paediatrics and paediatric cardiology at Monash Medical Centre, Monash Health and the Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne.
Suraj has undertaken sub-specialty fellowships in ventricular assist device/ cardiac transplantation and cardiac MRI at the Royal Children’s Hospital. He has participated in multi-centre trials and has published in national and international journals.
Suraj consults in all areas of paediatric cardiology.
