Dr Suma Shivaraj is an overseas medical graduate who came to Australia in 1994 and successfully completed her MBBS qualification recognition exams . She has got her fellow ship in General Practice and also a diploma in Gynaecology and Obstetrics which enables her to do Shared care for pregnant women and Women’s Health . She has experience in Child Health and has qualifications in the same . She enjoys General Practice on the whole and her interests are in women’s health and child health as well as mental illnesses . She is trained in procedures like Implanon insertion and also skin excision procedures . Suma is also a shared care provider for four hospitals including the Royal Women’s Hospital. She is happy to see patients for pregnancies and care during pregnancy. Her passion at Modern Medical is to continue to provide a high standard of care and offer high quality services to our patients. Suma is dedicated to her work and continues to do further studies to keep her skills up to date . She is from India and speaks and understands four Indian languages along with good command over the English language . She lives close to work and has two kids . Her extracurricular activities are keeping fit , gardening and cooking. Suma is a proud Doggies supporter!
