Dr Sue Hartley, MBBS - Dr Sue was born in Poland and came to this country when she was 11 years old. Like Dr Nick, whose father was also Polish and a doctor, Sue knew early on that she wanted to carry on the family tradition. After finishing her HSC at Sydney Girls High in Surry Hills, she continued on to Sydney University to study medicine. For a number of years she had her own practice but sold it so she could divide time between medicine and her family. She has two sons, Mark and David, and two grandchildren, Matthew and Claire. After more than 30 years in general practice, Dr Sue is still fascinated by the diversity of human nature. She has a particular interest in older age patients. At home, Sue is a keen do-it-yourself person, tackling projects running the gamut from baking bread to regrouting the shower.
