Dr Sucy Mohan is a family doctor who has well over thirty years of medical experience in both the Hospital and General Practice setting. She completed her medical degree (MBBS) in India in 1985. She gained a wealth of work experience in the hospital system in South Africa, performing in various departments for over twelve years; primarily in Paediatrics and Obstetrics & Gynaecology. Moving to the rural Queensland South Burnett district in 2002 she completed her fellowship with Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2004. She gained valuable experience in rural health before settling in Brisbane with her family in 2006. She has attained a Diploma in Dermatology and has knowledge and experience in Skin Cancer medicine and minor surgical procedures. Sucy enjoy all aspects of General Practice but is passionate about Children’s and Women’s health and Antenatal health care. This is showcased in her sub-specialisation with a Diploma of Child Health and further skills training in Mirena and Implanon insertion. She has a special interest in Diabetes and Nutritional medicine including obesity and weight management.
