Dr Stephen Wales Steve is a highly experienced specialist general practitioner who joins Whitehorse Medical Centre after owning and operating his own successful private family practice in Vermont for the last twenty years. He graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1986 after completing his M.B.B.S and additional honours year (B.Med.Sc.) and was awarded his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practioners in1990. He took up academic practice as a Senior Lecturer at University of Melbourne for the following six years in addition to being FRACGP Examiner prior to moving into private practice. His abilities encompass the full range of family practice skills from minor surgery to counselling with a strong focus on preventive medicine and he is deeply committed to being a traditional family doctor offering holistic, comprehensive care to patients and their families.
