Stephen graduated in Oct 1990 with MBBS from Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria and has been practicing as a GP since that time. Stephen moved to South Africa in 1995, where he enrolled in Masters degree program in Family Medicine at the University of Pretoria, South Africa. Subsequently Stephen obtained his GP fellowship, the MCFP(SA) from the college of Medicine, South Africa in 1999. Stephen and his family moved to Australia in 2000. He first practiced as a GP in Queensland from December 2000 until January 2002 when he and his family moved to (Traralgon) Victoria in February 2002 to work at Breed Street Clinic. He undertook further studies as a GP in Australia and obtained his Australian GP fellowship degree (FRACGP) in 2003 with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioner (RACGP). He rose through the ranks at Breed Street Clinic to become one of the owner-directors of that clinic which grew to become one of the largest single GP practice (with 13 doctors and 5 nurses) in Gippsland. For family reasons, he left Breed Street Clinic in February 2018 and opened Capstone Medical Center at Toorak in the same month. Stephen’s medical interest covers the whole spectrum of general practice, in particular, the psychological health issues, musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, endocrine conditions such as diabetes mellitus, Thyroid disorders etc, care of the elderly and occupational health care in General Practice.
