Dr Stephen Hing grew up in the St George area of Sydney, and graduated in Medicine from the University of Sydney. He trained in Ophthalmology in Auckland and Sydney, and did subspecialty training in Paediatric Ophthalmology at the Hospital for Sick Children in London. He has practised for many years in southern, and south-western Sydney and has wide experience in all areas of paediatric ophthalmology , and children’s eye surgery. He has spent his long-service leave at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, USA and in recent years has spent time teaching junior doctors in Vietnam, China and Cambodia. Dr Hing is proud to be a part-owner of Liverpool Eye Surgery, and operates there, and at St George Private Hospital.
