Dr Weston is a medical graduate from the University of Western Australia. Before commencing dermatology she worked at Princess Margaret Hospital in the field of paediatrics and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians (Paediatrics) in 2004. She then specialized in dermatology, becoming a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatology in 2008. Whilst Dr Weston maintains a special interest in paediatric dermatology she continues to practice in general medical and surgical dermatology. She is a visiting Consultant Dermatologist at Princess Margaret Hospital and visits the country to provide dermatology services to the Kimberley and Pilbara regions. She is an active member of the Australasian College of Dermatologists (ACD), currently serving as the treasurer of the WA Faculty, as well as representing WA on the rural committee of the ACD.
