Dr Teoh grew up on the lower North shore, graduating from the University of Sydney in 1995. After several years in general and emergency medicine, she became a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2003 and has loved being a GP ever since. She has worked in several practices in both urban and rural areas throughout Australia and was even a GP in Beijing, China for seven years, before returning to Australia in 2015. She joined Dee Why Family Medical Centre in February 2016 and also plays a role as Medical Director, Qualitas Healthcare Australia providing support for our other doctors and guiding high standards of medical care. Dr Teoh’s interest areas include General Medicine, Paediatrics (especially early behavioural issues such as sleep problems, feeding and behavioural concerns), Women’s health and antenatal shared care, Sexual health, Drugs and Alcohol and Mental Health concerns. Dr Teoh is known for her warmth, good humour and love of family medicine.
