Dr Sol Adibnejad graduated from Tehran University of Medical Sciences in 2003. He worked as a General Practitioner in Tehran for 2 years. Over this time he also was a research assistant and journal editor for the Iranian Multiple Sclerosis Society and Razi Dermatology Research Centre. He has published several medical books and papers including education booklets for patients with Multiple Sclerosis.

On arrival in Melbourne in 2006, Sol started working in Western Health where he spent the next 3 years in the capacity of a hospital medical officer/registrar and worked in different hospitals including Western, Sunshine, Williamstown, Werribee, Box Hill and Monash Medical Centre. Sol gained experience in surgical fields including plastic surgery, skin cancer surgery and cosmetic surgery during this time.

Sol was a Emergency Medical Officer in 2009 wher he considerably improved his skills in Acute Medicine.

In 2010, Sol began his travels across Australia working in the rural and remote areas of Australian States and Territories, getting to know the land, its great people and their culture. He has used this opportunity to get know the health problems specific to different regional areas including Aboriginal health.
