Mr Siva Sundararajan is a specialist General and weight loss surgeon. He graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2000 and migrated to Australia in 2004.
After completing his surgical training in Western Australia, Mr Sundararajan moved to Melbourne to undertake a fellowship in bariatric surgery at Box Hill Hospital. It is a high volume unit with surgeons specialising in laparoscopic and robotic weight loss surgery and the only public hospital in Australia to have a dedicated weight loss surgery unit.
He then travelled to Belgium to work with Dr Bruno Dillemans, a world authority on bariatric surgery, to further his skills.
Mr Sundararajan has commenced private practice at St John of God Subiaco Hospital and has public appointments at Armadale Hospital and St John of God Midland Public Hospital.
