Dr. Sina Vatandoust joined North Adelaide Oncology Group in 2015 - consulting at St Andrews Hospital. Sina undertook his undergraduate medical studies at Tehran University of medical sciences. He obtained a Medical Doctorate in 2003 with a thesis on Haematological Stem Cell Transplantation. He completed his basic physician training at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and advanced training in medical oncology at TQEH, Royal Adelaide Hospital and Flinders Medical Centre. He subsequently completed a year of research fellowship at Flinders Centre for Innovation in Cancer where he currently holds a position of a consultant medical oncologist. Sina has been involved in design and conducting multiple research projects and clinical trials in colorectal cancer, prostate cancer and supportive care. He is a Molecular Oncology PhD candidate at Flinders University and his current research is focused on biomarkers in colorectal cancer.
