Dr Simon Carter has been a GP at Fiveways Surgery since 1992. He has a broad experience in local family medicine having grown up in St Lucia and graduated MB.,BS from the University of Queensland. He spent much of his early career involved in sports medicine at the elite level. He holds a Masters Degree in Sports Medicine from the University of New South Wales. He has always held a special interest in management of the skin, particularly of skin cancers. After graduating he undertook many years of surgical training. More recently he has expanded this interest to include cosmetic skin rejuvenation after he gained a Certificate in Aesthetic Medicine from the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine
