Dr Tan is a dual-trained clinical and laboratory haematologist at St Vincent’s Hospital and Werribee Mercy Hospital. She graduated from the University of Melbourne, and completed her specialist training at the Alfred Hospital, Monash Medical Centre and St. Vincent’s Hospital.

Dr Tan has a major interest in malignant haematology, particularly in myelodysplastic syndromes and myeloproliferative neoplasms where she is currently completing PhD research investigating novel treatment in myelodysplastic syndromes. She has presented in national and international conferences, and published in peer-reviewed journals.In addition, she is the principal investigator and associate investigator on a number of clinical trials at St Vincent’s Hospital.

Dr Tan also consults on a wide range of benign and malignant blood disorders, including lymphoma, leukaemia, myeloma, thrombosis and bleeding disorders. She is compassionate and committed in providing the best personalised care for her patients.
