Born and bred as a Far North Queensland local, Shontel loves living in the tropics. After graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from James Cook University, she worked in the private sector in and around Cairns, providing much needed dental care to smaller outlying communities.
Recently, Shontel joined the team at Bupa Dental, having moved to Townsville to be closer to family. She enjoys restorative and aesthetic dentistry and strives to provide a stress-free dental visit for the whole family. Shontel is committed to educating you on your dental concerns and helping you achieve a happy, healthy smile. When not attending professional development courses to further increase her knowledge, Shontel enjoys hiking, scuba diving and relaxing at home with her family and two border collies.
