Dr Shoma Dutt is an enthusiastic and experienced Paediatric Gastroenterologist and Senior Staff Specialist based in Sydney, at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead (CHW). She has a keen interest in paediatric growth, nutrition, diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, liver and pancreas.
Dr Dutt completed her specialist training at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead, and completed her PhD studies at University of Sydney. She is a Clinical Associate Professor of the Clinical School, University of Sydney, based at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.
Dr Dutt is accredited to perform paediatric endoscopy and colonoscopy by the Gastroenterological Society of Australia.
Dr Dutt is a member of the Cystic Fibrosis (CF) team, and manages children with gastrointestinal manifestations of CF and the current Clinical Lead of the Paediatric Inflammatory Bowel Disease Service at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.
She is involved in teaching and assessment of medical students in the Child and Adolescent Health teaching block of the Sydney Medical Programme, and one of the coordinators of the Masters in Med (Paediatric) programme at the University of Sydney.
