Shiromi graduated from Monash University in 2008 and completed her residency years through Alfred Health. She is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). Shiromi has undertaken mental health skills training and has a special interest in the management of anxiety and depression in all age groups. She has a further interest in fertility medicine with particular focus on egg freezing, IVF and surrogacy counselling. Passionate about adolescent health, Shiromi has spoken to high school students through a school education program to address issues regarding smoking cessation, bullying, internet addiction and sexual health. She takes a pragmatic, caring and friendly attitude towards general practice. In her life beyond the consulting room, Shiromi enjoys listening to podcasts, discovering new weekend brunch spots with friends and walking her adorable and much loved two year old labrador, Snickers. Shiromi is Level 2 Focused Psychological Strategy trained including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. She has taken a few months off for advanced training. She will be back from mid-July 2018 fortnightly for her regular patients and also for any new patients who would like to see her for a mental health consultation.
