Dr Sherrie Lee is a born and raised local to Whittlesea. After finishing high school she went on to a Bachelor of Science at the University of Melbourne, and during this time she came to experience the effectiveness of chiropractic before going on to complete a Bachelor of Health Science (Chiropractic) and the Master of Clinical Chiropractic at RMIT University Bundoora. She has strong community involvement with both the Whittlesea and Yea Agricultural Horse Show Societies and was named the 2015 Victorian Rural Ambassador, a leadership program promoting youth in agriculture. Dr Lee is also a keen Equestrian, particularly in Show Horse events, where she has competed in the prestigious Garryowen class and is a multiple winner at Horse & Rider of the Year events & Royal Agricultural Shows and is a current Grand National Top 10 senior rider. Dr Lee has travelled around Australia and overseas providing health care to disadvantaged communities as well as elite athletes such as triathletes and the Samoan Rugby team. She attends regular seminars and is expanding her knowledge to incorporate animals into her scope of practice. Her motto is “Be the change you want to see in the world” and promotes this through her healthy and very active lifestyle.
