As a long-time resident of Melbourne’s northern suburbs, I’m eager to help make our great community as happy and healthy as possible. After graduating from the University of Melbourne, I worked in major metropolitan teaching hospitals as well as rural and remote towns throughout Australia. Over the years I have spent time as Ship’s Doctor onboard the Greenpeace icebreaker vessel The Arctic Sunrise, as well as undertaken a PhD in Medicine. As a qualified GP I am passionate about child and family health, have a background in mental health treatment, and a specialty interest in skin cancer medicine for which I have undertaken advanced training. When I’m not at work you can find me cycling around the inner north with my young family, relaxing at our holiday home at Woodend or playing in my bluegrass band with Kyle.
