Dr Desai is a General Surgeon with experience and training in Australia, New Zealand, UK and India. During his training in Australasia and overseas he worked in major tertiary specialised surgical units of international repute.
Dr Desai recently trained and did a visiting Fellowship in Breast Reconstructive and Oncoplastic Breast Surgery in UK (Manchester) and France (Paris) which has enabled him to offer a range of Oncoplastic Breast Cancer operations and Breast Reconstruction Surgery.
In his current public hospital position as Consultant Breast and General Surgeon, Dr Desai does a wide variety of General Surgical and Laparoscopic procedures, Breast, Oncoplastic and Endocrine (Thyroid) surgery, as well as Upper and Lower GI endoscopies.
