Dr Shalu Singh has 16 years of experience in the field of Medicine. She is an Undergraduate from the elite Armed Forces Medical College, India (2004). She migrated to Australia in 2010. Prior to coming to Australia Shalu served in the Indian Army for 7 years retiring as a Major. She soon became a Fellow of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2012.

She has been working in Cardiff Medical Centre and Skin Cancer Clinic for more than 7 years. During her practice as a GP she developed a keen interest in Skin Cancer. Shalu is trained in Dermoscopy and Skin cancer management from HealthCert. In these years she has diligently upgraded her skills and sharpened her acumen. Besides her excellence in General Practice, she specialises in early diagnosis of Skin Cancer, Skin Biopsies and Excisions. Her Surgical Skills are second to none.

Shalu and her husband Dr Karwal decided to commit themselves exclusively to Skin Cancer and Treatment by opening their own private Skin Cancer Clinic in Maitland.

She is not only a mother to two energetic boys, but also pursuing her Masters in Forensic Medicine from Monash University, Melbourne.

Her dynamism seems to continue since her University days when she was a Basketball Player for College and an appointment holder along with her many other interests.
