Hi, my name is Shadab Fallahtafti. I grew up and trained in Iran after graduating as a General Practitioner from Isfahan University of Medical Sciences in 2009. After this, I started to work as a family doctor. In 2011, I was employed as a Doctor in the outpatient clinic of a public hospital. Simultaneously, I worked in the cardiology ward and coronary care unit (CCU) overnight. In 2013 my husband (Mehdi Fouladi) and I decided to experience something different in our lives, and so we came to Australia. Although I like all aspects of general practice, my main interests are women's health, children's health and preventative health. I always do my best to gain the trust of my patients so that they can talk freely about their issues. I think there is an enormous and ever increasing need for people in the community to have many of their emotional and social problems addressed by a health professional. My interests otherwise include spending time with my family, cycling and cooking. My parents have always been an inspiration to me. Anyway, I am really looking forward to joining the team at Atticus Health and becoming a part of the Carrum community.
