Dr Sean Lal completed his undergraduate and graduate medical training at the University of Sydney. He undertook internship, residency, general medical training and cardiology speciality training at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
Dr Lal has a clinical and research interest in heart failure, in particular, in advanced techniques in cardiac regeneration. He is currently pursuing post-graduate studies in this field through the University of Sydney and Harvard Medical School.
Dr Lal practices at Strathfield Private Hospital and is an honorary medical officer at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. He is also a Lecturer in Anatomy at the Sydney Medical School at University of Sydney, in addition to being the curator of the Sydney Heart Bank.
