Dr Satheeka Kamaladasa enjoys working in General Practice and has special interests in women's health, skin diseases, general medicine, diabetes, hypertension, mental health and preventive health.
Dr Kamaladasa graduated from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka in 1986, completed her post-graduate training in Leeds General Infirmary (United Kingdom) and obtained her Membership of the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom in 1997.
She moved to Dubbo with her family when her husband was appointed as the Cardiologist at Dubbo Base Hospital in 2009. She has been part of the team at Dubbo Family Doctors since 2011 and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Dr Kamaladasa also enjoys teaching and lecturing medical students at the School of Rural Health, University of Sydney. Both Dr Kamaladasa and her husband have a passion for music and for sports (especially cricket).
