Dr Sarath Burgis-Kasthala recently moved from Edinburgh with his wife and young son to work here at the Ochre Health Medical Centre Garran. He studied then taught at the University at Aberdeen, Scotland and has worked in a variety of specialities throughout Scotland. Sarath works part-time at Garran as he is completing a PhD in International Health and works as a lecturer at ANU. In his spare time he enjoys running (largely after his toddler son) and spending time with his family, exploring the Canberra bush. Specialty interest areas: mental health, chronic diseases, tropical medicine and sports medicine Dr Burgis-Kasthalal is available for appointments all day Monday and Tuesday, Thursday & Friday mornings.
