Currently studying Masters of Perioperative Medicine I have come to Medicine later in life, graduating in 2012 from Monash University from the mature age post graduate rural program. Prior to medicine I have worked in small business and in allied health as a dietitian. I completed most of my medical training in Gippsland, though one highlight was my time spent in Derby WA with the RFDS. This is where I consolidated my keen interest in Anaesthetics and child health. Outside of work I have a love of the outdoors, cycling and cooking. My family is important; we have 3 sons, 2 dogs and 6 chickens. BMG has been my GP home as a patient since the late ’80’s. I am now delighted to be working here as a GPA. My work experience began here whilst a medical student with many of the current GP’s being my ongoing mentors. It is a warm and supportive environment. I am grateful to work with such a fine team of administrative, nursing and medical staff.
