Sarah Knight is a senior paediatric clinical neuropsychologist who has extensive experience in child and adolescent neuropsychology assessment and intervention. She has particular expertise in paediatric chronic health conditions and rehabilitation.

Sarah conducts comprehensive cognitive, intellectual and academic assessments, and provides specialised intervention services for behaviour, attention, memory and fatigue. She sees children and adolescents with a range of conditions including traumatic brain injury, concussion, stroke, epilepsy, cerebral palsy, Type I diabetes, chronic fatigue syndrome, cancer, behavioural difficulties and learning problems. Sarah works closely with schools and families to ensure that children reach their best potential.

BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE Sarah has worked in a range of health care settings at the Royal Children’s Hospital and Monash Children’s. She has a Master of Psychology (Clinical Neuropsychology) and Doctor of Philosophy from The University of Melbourne. She is registered as a clinical neuropsychologist and supervisor with the Australian Board of Psychology. Sarah currently holds a senior clinical position within the statewide Victorian Paediatric Rehabilitation Service where she provides expert care to children and adolescents within a multidisciplinary setting. She is also the Statewide Clinical Research Education Officer for the Victorian Paediatric Rehabilitation Service. In this role, she helps to ensure that children and adolescents across the state receive evidence-informed, best quality, rehabilitation. Sarah is a post-doctoral research fellow in Developmental Disability and Rehabilitation Research at the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute and an honorary fellow in the Department of Paediatrics at The University of Melbourne. RESEARCH INTERESTS Sarah has a particular interest in improving care and outcomes for children with complex medical conditions, and their families. She is involved in actively facilitating the translation of research into clinical practice. Sarah has published several journal manuscripts addressing the impact of a range of chronic health conditions on child and adolescent development. She currently oversees a clinical research program for paediatric chronic fatigue syndrome at the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute.
