Dr Sewak, graduated from Melbourne University with a MBBS in 1989. Trained in internal Medicine and later Medical Oncology and received his fellowship from the Royal Australian College of Physicians in the year 2000. He is a member of the Medical Oncology Group of Australia, Victorian Clinical Oncology Group-Urology, Australasian Gastro-Intestinal Tumour Group, Australian and New Zealand Breast Cancer Trials Group, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the AMA. Dr Sewak spent two years in New York carrying out post-graduate research and training in Oncology at New York University Medical Centre in Manhattan.. On returning to Australia he worked in Wollongong and Geelong. He has a broad range of experience in all tumour types. His research interests include Genito-Urinary Malignancy, Lung Cancer and Head & Neck Cancer.
