Dr. Sanjay Raghav, MBBS, MD, DM, FRACP is an adjunct senior lecturer at Monash University. He is also Therapeutic Director at Yarra Valley Living Centre, house of Gawler Cancer Foundation. They run wellness and meditation retreats apart from disease specific retreats. Moreover, he is also assigned supervisor and mentor to RACP trainees. Dr Raghav finished his MBBS in 1994, followed by MD in 1998. He did a movement disorder fellowship sponsored by Parkinson's Victoria in 2005 and also received FRACP in the same year. He is working as Consultant Neurologist in Monash Medical Centre since last 10 years and in Frankston Hospital since 2006. At the same time he joined Dandenong Neurology with Dr Billimoria. Dr. Raghav has special interest in Movement Disorders which include tremors, Parkinson’s Disease, Tics, Dystonia and Huntington’s Disease. In addition, he is involved in several research projects realted to Movement Disorders at Monash Medical Centre. Several of his research papers and articles have been published in esteemed peer reviewed medical journals and presented at National and International conferences.He is actively involved in teaching and training of Neurology Registrars and fellows. As an active member of Australian Integrative Medicine Assn. (AIMA) and Australian College of Nutrional Medicine (ACNM), Dr. Raghav has a keen interest in the holistic living. Therefore he has incorporated yoga, ayurveda and naturopathy as a supplement to conventional medicine. He enjoys teaching patients how to enrich their lives with holistic living through a variety of workshops and seminars.
