Dr Sandra Bayley has been working in General Practice for over 30 years. After completing her medical degree in Newcastle in 1984 she worked as a GP in both Newcastle and Brisbane before joining the team at Alderley Clinic. Dr Bayley has spent the last 20 years addressing the health needs of the local Alderley community and has a special interest in mental health and acupuncture. She sees a number of patients who self refer through Beyond Blue and she encourages a willingness to discuss the big issues in life, such as death, climate change, grief and suicide. Nothing is so terrible that it can’t be discussed with your doctor.
When she is not practising medicine, Dr Bayley is an environmentalist. She holds concerns about climate change and the impacts it is already having on the planet, including human health.
