Dr Wright graduated with his medical degree from University of Melbourne before undertaking his clinical training at Royal Melbourne and Austin Hospitals. He completed advanced physician training in Cardiology before specialising in multi-modality cardiac imaging, including level A CT coronary angiography accreditation, and is one of a very small number of cardiologists in Melbourne with dual training in Nuclear Medicine. He is currently appointed as a staff specialist Cardiologist at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, as a consultant physician at Northern Health and provides nuclear cardiology (and general nuclear) investigations at MIA radiology at John Fawkner Hospital, Epping and Warringal Private Hospital. Special interests include; chest pain, undifferentiated dyspnoea, heart failure and managing cardiac issues in complex medical patients.
