Dr. Sam Kaldas is a Consultant Physician/ Internist with over 17 years of Clinical experience managing acute and general medical problems. He has a strong interest and focus in perioperative medicine care across all kinds of surgical procedures.
Sam completed his undergraduate medical degree at Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt in 1993 and completed a Master of Medicine in 1997. He also obtained USMLE certificate in 1995. He was practicing as a medical registrar in a major private teaching hospital after his internship before relocating to Australia in 1999.
He has completed the Perioperative short course (Monash University/Alfred Hospital) and is currently undertaking the Diploma in Clinical Ultrasound (Melbourne University) with plans for further research and studies in Perioperative Medical fields.
Dr. Kaldas is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. He is also a member of the Internal Medicine Society of Australia and New Zealand, Society of Perioperative Assessment and Quality Improvement and the American College of Physicians.
