Hi, I am Sai Andey. I recently started working at Atticus Health in Hastings and Bittern. I feel privileged to work among such an amazing team who instantly create positive vibes wherever they are. I studied Medicine at AJ Institute of Medical Sciences, Mangalore (it’s not a town in Victoria as some of you may think, but a town in India, fondly called ‘the Rome of the East’ and ‘Ice cream Capital of India’). I love helping people solve their mental and physical ailments, which gives me immense satisfaction. This single idea of helping people motivates me to constantly improve my performance as a doctor. You would find it interesting to know that I had a working holiday on a ship in 2013. Well, technically, it was an accommodation barge (a rectangular block of floating plank which is anchored to an oil rig that served as workers’ accommodation). It was a once in a lifetime learning experience and I enjoyed serving the 400 odd workers on board. I wanted to become a GP from early days of my medical school and worked towards it. I worked in a primary care setting back in India for over 3 years and enjoyed my time dealing with patients at a grass root level. My clinical Interests are Chronic Disease Management, Ear, Nose and Throat medicine, Geriatrics, Mental Health and Dermatology. I am mightily excited to start working at Atticus and make a positive impact in my patients' lives. Stay Healthy and Stay Positive!!
