Dr Hawter is originally from WA, and graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2008. She came Victoria for GP training, getting an excellent start in East Gippsland practices, and completing training in 2014. She then went to Launceston where she completed a GP Anaesthetics program. She returned to East Gippsland as she was taken by the beauty and lifestyle on offer, and in the hopes of contributing to the ongoing health of the community. She enjoys all areas of her GP role, but particularly anaesthetics, women’s health and children’s health. She is an advocate of prevention as the best medicine, and wants to assist clients in maintaining or regaining their optimal health.
