Completed his specialist training in Radiation Oncology in 1998, having trained at the Royal Prince Alfred and St George Hospitals in Sydney as well as Woden Valley Hospital in Canberra. The radiotherapy department in Geelong is part of the Andrew Love Cancer Centre, which is a comprehensive cancer centre. The centre uses cutting edge technology including volumetric arch therapy (VMAT), and IMRT. The centre will shortly be introducing stereotactic radiotherapy. All patients are bulk billed for the consultation and treatment. In addition, patients have access to a PET scanner at Barwon Medical Imaging. All PET scans that meet reimbursable indicators are bulk billed with no out of pocket cost for the patient.
