Robyn qualified as a medical doctors from University of New South Wales in 1976. She spent initial few years in obstetrics and anaesthetics departments. She worked for about 15 years in the emergency department of Wollongong Hospital. In early 90s she decided for a change from City to rural areas. She started her general practice career in Heyfield in 1996, before moving and settling in Sale in 2000. She continues her interest in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in her day to day general practice.
Outside medicine she spends most of her time fly fishing. She also take keen interest in fly tying, painting and gardening.
