Dr. Robin Meusemann was medically trained at the Melbourne University where she received Honours in all four subjects, she then attended the Royal Melbourne Hospital clinical school and did her fellowship at Melbourne.
Dr. Meusemann was a finalist in the Leonard Mitchell Ophthalmology prize examination (Royal Melbourne Hospital) and was also received a Royal Australian College of Ophthalmologists prize examination at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital.
Robin performed her internship in 1993 at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and was Junior Hospital Medical Officer in 1994 at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. In 1995 Robin was the Senior Tutor at the Royal Melbourne Hospital in the department of anatomy and cell biology. In 1996 she became the Senior Hospital Medical Officer at the Royal Melbourne Hospital where she entered the training program at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital in 1997 as a First Year Registrar. From 1998-1999 Robin was the regsitrar at the Geelong Hospital, The Royal Melbourne Hospital and the Royal Children's Hospital. In 2000 Robin was the Senior Ophthalmologist Registrar at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital. Whilst holding this position, Robin also was involved in the running of the February/March Part II RACO fellowship examinations during the year 2000 and on the RACO committee discussing the revision of the part 1 examination.
